Haat is dedicated to providing exceptional fishing products that are quality tested and guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship. We deeply appreciate our customers' loyalty and in return seek to provide an exceptional service and warranty experience.

The Haat Guarantee is broken down into three programs that, combined, provide coverage on all Haat fishing rods under the original purchaser, during the specified time frames listed below.

Limited Warranty Program

Out of Warranty Repair & Replacement Program

  • For rods outside of their warranty periods
  • Haat will repair or replace rods regardless of the circumstances surrounding the defect

Limited Warranty Period

Since 2021, every Haat rod has a manufacturing code to identify when it was manufactured. The year of manufacture is used to determine the beginning date of the warranty period, unless the rod was purchased directly from Haat.

If the rod was not purchased directly from Haat, use the chart below to determine the start of the Limited Warranty period.

Program Details

Haat Limited Warranty

Under the Haat Limited Warranty Program, Haat will warranty all rods manufactured by Haat under the original purchaser, during its specified time frame listed above.

Subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this warranty, Haat will remedy defects in materials or workmanship by making the necessary repairs within ninety days without charge for parts or labor. In addition, if it is not possible to remedy the defects, Haat will replace the product, or, will issue a credit to be used toward the purchase of a new Haat rod in the same fishing rod category.

No warranty is given for defects caused by normal wear and tear, scratches, accidents, modifications or any types of repair other than those authorized by Haat. No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond Haat’s control including, but not limited to, misuse, overloading, improper transportation or storage, or use of the product outside of Haat’s written instructions or guidelines included with the rod or made available to the purchaser. Examples of non-covered defects include twisted or warped blanks that are determined to have been caused by improper storage or transportation and cork damaged from improper handling.

This Haat warranty coverage does not, under any circumstances, cover any damage to non-Haat products used in conjunction with Haat fishing rods.

Customer is responsible for shipping to (if necessary) and from Haat. A discounted return label can be purchased directly from Haat. Return shipping is $15 within the United States and $25 to Canada. There is a $25 surcharge when shipping to the following Canadian provinces: Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut.

Haat Repair & Replacement Program

In the event a defect is not covered under the Haat Limited Warranty during the warranty period, rods can be repaired or replaced under the Haat Repair & Replacement Program.

  • All rods within the warranty period are eligible regardless of the defect or break
  • A repair will occur when a guide is broken or missing. All other defects will result in the replacement of the rod
  • Customer is responsible for shipping to (if necessary) and from Haat. A discounted return label can be purchased directly from Haat.

  • All rods are eligible regardless of the defect or break.
  • A repair will occur when a guide is broken or missing. All other defects will result in the replacement of the rod
  • Customer is responsible for shipping to (if necessary) and from Haat. A discounted return label can be purchased directly from Haat.
